(Owensboro) – The Daviess County Fire Department unveiled two custom pumper trucks on Monday, August 15 at the Airport Station.
“As the fire service evolves, so must our response,” said Fire Chief Jeremy Smith.  “We responded to over 4100 calls last year across the county, so having reliable equipment is vital for the fire department as well as the county residents we protect.”

Conexon Presents on Broadband Expansion Project - Daviess County Kentucky

Conexon is moving forward with plans for a fiber optic network that will deliver high speed internet service to underserved areas of Daviess County.
The company will work along existing right-of-way and utilize poles owned by Kenergy Corporation.

Daviess County leaders celebrate the restoration of the iron truss bridge at Yellow Creek Park.

Improving access to REAL ID credentials in Daviess County - Daviess County Kentucky

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) will open a permanent Regional Driver Licensing office in Daviess County to administer REAL ID-compliant credentials.
